FIRE SAFETY EDUCATION FOR YOUNG CHILDREN
This program provides children ages 3 - 5 with basic information on fire safety in the home, and at school. Lessons that have been learned in previous fire safety classes are reinforced and expanded.

This is a fun and educational interactive program. The program starts with a pre-discussion, using visual aids such as smoke detector, matches, and lighters. An age appropriate video is shown, followed by summary discussion. Next we put on Firefighting gear so the children can see what a firefighter looks like when they fight fire. This is done to stress the important of not being afraid of firefighters. If the Teacher is willing we will dress them up as firefighter. After the program, literature is given to the teacher. The program lasts about one hour and requires VCR or DVD player.
